One of the well known manufacturers of computer motherboards and graphic cards, GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., has very recently announced that it will conduct its latest overclocking contest named “Pi is returned” at HWBOT.org. All the members of HWBOT will have a chance to showcase their overclocking skills from 16th of August to 16th of September 2013. The participants will be vying for cash prizes worth $5000 on one of the original and very classic benchmarks of memory and CPU, the SuperPi .
This contest will be consisting of AMD FM2 and AM3+ platform groups and each of these will have stages that will be based upon the benchmarks of SuperPi 1M and SuperPi 32M. The good thing is that the prize money of $5000 will be presented to the winner as well as the runner ups whereas the second runner ups will go home with a lots of interesting gadgets like the GIGABYTE F2A85XN-WIFI and GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 motherboards as well as CPUs and APUs. And if the participants manage to create some world records, they have some extra cash on offer for this, at each stage too.

Here is a quick look at the various stages of the contest and the prizes to be grabbed:

Rules:
The participants will have to use  the official background of the competition.  The screenshots of verification are mandatory and are required to include; scores of  Superi 1M or 32M, along with CPU-Z CPU/MEM/Mainboard tab. A picture of the rig that has been used must also be included.  The remaining rules for HWBOT submission and verification also apply.
