LG Optimus G Launched in India for Price Rs. 34,500

LG Nexus 4 and Optimus G were the much awaited smartphones  in India since their launch(as they were launched in the other parts of the world but not in India). Korea based LG don’t have any plans to release its Nexus phones in India till yet but launching its Optimus G in Indian market for sure.  LG had plans to launch their device this week and already available online at Saholic.com, and the site was accepting pre booking of the device.  LG Optimus G is finally launched in India, for Price Rs. 34,500 with more updated specs.

It sports a large 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) True HD display, and in case of the operating system it works on Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich which is expected to get upgraded to Android Jelly Bean soon. In processor area, it is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core processor with the support of 2GB of RAM. Availability and Price

The company priced Optimus G at Rs. 34,500, whereas Saholic pre-booked the devices at Rs 30,990. LG Optimus G will be available in the whole country from early March. But now the main question arises that featuring such a high price range and still giving you Android Ice Cream Sandwich, LG Optimus would be able to make it’s position in Indian mobile horizon as its is already overshadowed by the Mobile giants like Samsung, Apple and not to ignore our very own Micromax (all are offering Android Jelly Bean and so at an affordable price range). At the last we can say that it will be tough for LG Optimus to standout here until it won’t work on its Operating system, we would suggest LG to upgrade its OS as soon as possible.
