The much anticipated L G Optimus G pro has been released in India today for a price of 42,500 Rs. The phone has a large 5.5 inch full HD IPS screen which technically makes it a phablet. You can watch your movies or play your games with a crystal clear screen at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 400ppi. This phone truly rivals Samsung’s new Galaxy note which is set to be released soon.
Lets talk about the camera’s; There is a 13 mega pixel rear camera and a 2.1 mega pixel front camera and of course they are both full HD. Whats unique about the cameras is the dual recording feature which allows a fantastic picture in picture experience and they also have a feature of taking 360-degree panorama photographs. With this phone you no longer need a separate camera..
The battery is a 3,140mAh that is removable and has the wireless charging feature. Just in case you are unfamiliar with wireless charging what this allows you to do is to set your phone on a dock and charge it without having to plug it in. Some say this is a bit of a gimmick but you can also charge other electronic devices that are wireless charging compatible with the one dock and it saves you valuable seconds having to plug in and un plug chargers :P.
In terms of memory this phone has 32 GB of onboard memory and if that is not enough for you it can be expanded by inserting an sd card (up to 32 GB). The ram is 2GB of DDR ram and the processor is an ultra fast Chipset: 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 600 Processor.
The operating system is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and the physical dimentions of the phone are as follows; 150.2 x 76.1 x 9.4mm. It seems LG has really outdone themselves this time, lets see what the rival smartphone company’s have in store for us in the coming months…
