HCL Me AE7-A1, AM7-A1, AP10-A1 Android Tablets

Launching the three Laptops and one Desktop was no enough! HCL has now launched three new tablets called Me AE7-A1, Me AM7-A1, and Me AP10-A1 in Indian market. These tablets are launched under HCL’s popular Me series and especially targeted to the budge conscious consumers.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems, said, “We are excited to launch the much awaited HCL ME Tablet. The HCL Me AE7-A1 is powered by Low Power ARM 11 800MHz processor and boasts 7-inch Resistive Touch Display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It boasts 0.3 Megapixel camera and features 2GB in-built Flash memory. It has 256MB RAM, MicroSD card slot supports upto 8GB cards, SD/MMC card slot, and USB 2.0 host. It features  WiFI 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and EVDO Dongle support via USB. The tablet is powered by Google Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System and runs on 2400mAh battery. The tablets also features G Sensor that supports rotation and it has 205.4 x 110.92 x 14mm Dimensions. HCL Me AE7-A1 is priced at Rs. 14, 990.


The HCL AM7-A1 is specs wise better than AE7-A1. It runs on 800MHz Cortex A8 processor and Google Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System. It has 512MB RAM and equipped with 7-inch Capacitive Multi-Touch Disply at 10244×600 pixels resolution. It has 1.3 megapixel camera and supports WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3G WCDMA, HSDPA/UMTS connectivity features. It has 8GB in-built Flash memory and boasts MicroSD card slot that supports upto 16GB of expandable memory. It has USB 2.0 Port, SD/MMC card slot and powered by 4200mAh battery. The tablet supports playback of 1080p HD video at upto 25fps. The HCL AM7-A1 is priced at Rs. 22,990.


This one, HCL ME AP10-A1 Tablet is hi-end among these three. It  runs on 1GHz Dual Cortex A9 Processor, 1GB RAM, and Google Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System. The tablet has 10-inch Capacitive Multi-Touch Display and boasts 1.3 Megapixel Camera,  and 16GB in-built Flash Memory. It supports 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR connectivity features. It is equipped with microSD card slot that supports upto 32GB of expandable memory. It also equipped with SD/MMC card slot USB 2.0 port, Mini-USB port Docking port for expansion – USB 2.0, Ethernet and HDMI. It supports FullHD 1080p video playback and feature 3D Accelerometer and Light Sensor. The HCL ME AP10-A1 Tablet is priced at Rs. 32,990.
