Facebook Revamp: Newsfeed to Get Update by March 7

Facebook has overshadowed the whole world from last few years. It is also believed that if Facebook would be the country then it would be the third most populated in the world after India and China. Right now many social networking sites try to beat it, but constant upgrading never let any other networking site lead. After every 6 months,  Facebook presents something interesting that don’t let it’s users to go somewhere else. Timeline, news in the side bar and many more can be examples of Facebook’s regular work on their site. We don’t get enough of one thing, and Facebook comes out with something more interesting and engage more and more users. That is what makes this social networking giant every body’s choice.


Now one more enhancement is on the line. Now the Facebook has decided to once again unveil its new look of news feed by March 7. Facebook currently has 1 billion member in their social network. The company is likely to showcase its new Newsfeed at a media event, which is scheduled to happen on 7 March in Menlo Park, California headquarters. The company has already sent out invites for the event. This would second important announcement from the company this year.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive, Facebook, “Facebook’s Newsfeed, which displays an ever-changing stream of the photos, videos and comments uploaded from a user’s network of friends, is one of the three pillars of the service, along with search and user profiles.”

In September 2011, Facebook has last updated its newsfeed section. After that, the company has mainly focused on creating ‘mobile first experiences’ because in the current state more than half users are accessing Facebook on mobile phones.
