Datawind Ubislate 7C+ Edge Calling Tablet Announced, is it Aakash 3?

Aakash Tablet might not ingenious to effectuate the intents it was suspected, but the manufacturer behind the Tablet is not tarrying quiet. SnapDeal.com, which is India’s Leading and Largest Online Marketplace, has today catalogued the ‘Datawind Ubislate 7C+ Edge Tablet. Interestingly, the Tablet has calling feature, which allows users to use it as a typical phone, as well.

Datawind Ubislate 7C+ Edge Tablet is likely to be launch later as Aakash 3, which has been leaking lately with the similar specifications, and it supports SIM calling feature too as per rumors. In the Operating System portion, it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System. It is powered by a Cortex A8 Processor running at 1.0Ghz Processor, coupled with 512MB or RAM.

When we talk about display, than we get acquainted that the tablet has a 7-inch Capacitive Touch Display, which offers 800×480 pixel resolution. Under the hood, there is 4GB of Internal storage, and 32GB expandable storage support. Though, there is only front VGA secondary camera support and does not include any rear main camera. If you are interested to know about Connectivity features, then let me tell you that it supports WiFi, USB, 2G connectivity and lacks the 3G support. It means you will not able to connect with the super fast Internet. With the tablet, those users who require basic features, can fulfill their computing needs at an affordable price.

The Datawind Ubislate 7C+ Edge Tablet boasts of gorgeous looks and includes a 3200mAh battery. Datawind claims that the battery is rated to deliver up to 4 hours backup on the WiFi, which seems a better deal.

Aakash Tablet was actually leaked few days before, and we highlighted the same about Aakash 3 Leak in our report. IIT Madras engineers are working on the Aakash 3, and the exact release date is still unknown. The Operating System version is also unclear, and final specifications of Aakash 3 will be revealed by National Mission for Education. As per the specifications, Datawind Ubislate 7C+ Edge might be re-branded as Aakash 3 if leaked specifications are to be believed.
