Huawei Ascend is a series of Android and Windows phone smartphone manufactured by Huawei . The company has turned out to be in the era of era Android 4.1 Jelly Bean based smartphone with the launch of new ‘Ascend G510’ at an affordable price . Huawei Ascend G300 went on sale in April 2012 exclusively to Vodafone UK. It ran on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) operating system. Huawei G600 smartphone was released in August 2012 in the country and is now available at a price point of Rs.14,990. Huawei has set up 23 research centers in Germany , Sweden , India and in other countries.
Huawei Ascend G510 runs on Android OS v4.1 (jelly Bean) with a 11.4cm(4.5 inch) IPS panel LCD touchscreen that supports 480×854 pixel resolution. Device has 1.2 GHz dual core mediatek 6577 Cortex A-9 processor, packed with Power VR SGX 531 graphic processing unit and 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory that can be extended up to 32 GB via micro SD card.For capturing view, Camera specification includes 5 MP LED flash, auto focus rear camera with a resolution of 2592*1940 pixels and 0.3 MP front camera.Video recording has 480 pixel capability(AVI , MP4 , FLV , H.263 , H.264), 3.5 mm audio jack (MP3, AAC , WAV).
